WELCOME

Furry Friends is a dog grooming salon in Royston. Through recommendations from happy customers Furry Friends has steadily grown and has recently moved to new more spacious permanent premises at North End in Meldreth. The new location offers a safer entrance, car park, rural space to give your dog a quick walk before their appointment, reception area, a light and airy salon with air-conditioning and a walk in bathing area.

Furry Friends grooming salon uses quality “All natural” shampoos suited to each dogs coat type, colour and condition. We also use a high quality conditioner which helps to leave your dogs coat silky smooth and less likely to matt with regular grooming. All dogs are bathed with a heated power shower, the correct shampoo is selected and use of conditioner is assessed. The anal glands are checked and emptied if necessary. The larger dogs are catered for with our walk in bath which helps to eliminate the risk of injury with climbing in and out of a raised bath. If your dog has a skin condition, please let us know as we can discuss their requirements.

The salon is fitted with high quality grooming equipment including electric, hydraulic lifting tables, which again means any size dog can be groomed safely, high velocity blasters and top quality finishing dryers. Cabin dryers are not used, each dog is dried and groomed out by the groomers however we can cage dry dogs with shorter coats if they don’t accept the dryers. All the equipment is regularly cleaned and sterilised and the salon is a quiet, calm environment that is kept clean and well ventilated.

The dogs are booked in for grooming by appointment only and after consultation will be groomed individually by passionate animal lovers. We understand that the dogs in our care are precious family members and are treated with care and kindness at all times.
